Hello everyone, my name is KITTY ANGEL (but my foster family likes to call me Kalypso)! I had a rough start to my young life, but I am a happy and loving girl now. I love playing with every dog I meet! I also like cats. I just wished cats would play with me! I also live with three young children. I sleep with my five year old human sister and we share the same pillow. My foster mom was contacted to help rescue me from a terrible situation. My previous owners did not realize I was deaf and abused me. They kept me chained out in the yard all day long. So once my foster mom found out, she got busy rescuing me. I am an approximately one and a half year old (as of March xxxx) American bulldog mix and am heartworm negative. I am a large doggy and weighed about forty-five pounds when first rescued. I am heart worm negative. Now, I love my treats and my regular meals. I do not mind at all if anyone wants me to share a bite of my food. I am a lucky girl to be inside a home and no longer outside chained to a tree. With lots of love and training, I have learned to trust people. My foster momma is so proud of how far I have come! I happily do all the basic commands, when my foster mom gives me the hand signs. I am such a smart girl that it did not take me long to learn sign language. I also do another trick not too many dogs know. I dance! Everyone loves to see me do my dance trick, so I always expect a treat afterwards. I would do best in a home with children since I dearly love them. I also would like a youthful doggy companion, since I love to play so much. I am good on a leash and love to go for walks around the neighborhood. I am also house trained. My foster mom says I deserve to have a family of my very own.
