DARCY is a sweet little girl who has fought through a very difficult time. A kind person found her on the side of the road bleeding, covered in ants, terrified and pretty much non-functional and asked ARF for assistance. All attempts to find her owners were unsuccessful. DARCY had apparently been attacked and had puncture wounds and was in shock. She spent several weeks at the vet followed by daily wound care and TLC at her foster home. DARCY has recovered from her traumatic life threatening events and is now ready to find her new forever home. Initially DARCY was terrified of everything and she would just run and hide. Now once she gains your trust there is no place she would rather be than in your lap! DARCY absolutely loves larger dogs and has become buddies with my other foster Suzie. She does fine with smaller dogs but she tries to be the alpha dog sometimes. DARCY gets along great with cats. DARCY does well in the car and likes to run and play in the yard. DARCY is super sweet and loving! She will make someone a great lap baby. DARCY has come a long way and will need someone who is willing to invest a little time in a dog who truly needs it. She will make someone's world if they prove to her that they will make her?s as well! DARCY is a female Chiweenie and is approximately 2 to 3 years old (Oct. xxxx). She is a tiny little girl and weighs just 4.5 pounds. DARCY is up to date on shots, spayed and micro-chipped.
