o This modification increased the range from around 100-120 or so miles per tank to about 190 miles. More mileage can be had if you drive on highways vs. mixed conditions.

The good:
? The bike runs like new or better
? The chrome and aluminum is blindingly brilliant
? The parts were installed by HD except for the tank which was self installed

? Plugs, intake, filter etc look brand new
The not so good:
? We have to sell the bike
? It is 11 years old and will have some scratches and rock chips. However these are very, very minimal and almost unoticable.
? The oil and filter needs to be changed now or in 500 miles (Oil is included with purchase)
? The brakes have life but I would suggest changing them soon
? Front tire needs to be replaced in the next 500 miles.
? The new tank is deeper and I don?t believe the gas gauge is 100% accurate due to this. It is not off by much. I typically refill at 150 miles just to be sure. It will usually take about 3.8 gallons of the 5.3 gallon capacity to fill it at 150 miles. This can be fixed if it is a bother. I have never trusted the gas gauge on previous bikes I?ve owned so I use the odometer.
? I don?t have the spanners needed to adjust the rear suspension but they are cheap to obtain
History:
This bike was purchased new by my father-in-law at North Shore Harley-Davidson in Slidell, LA. In xxxx, he passed away unexpectedly. He left the bike for his daughter, my wife.
It has seen the Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap and the Cherohala Skyway but otherwise been lightly ridden. Since it was in our possession, it was driven often for the first couple of years. For the past two years, it was driven a couple of times each year just to keep things in working order.

Yes! Only after you?ve paid for it in full. I?ve had enough nightmares this year.

Yes. Only by appointment please. Call or email and we can mutually agree on a time to view the bike.
